HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's tennis team will take a break from Southland Conference play Wednesday, traveling to UL Lafayette for a 6 p.m. contest.
Both Southeastern and the host Ragin' Cajuns both come in with a 9-3 overall record this spring.
Adriana Tirado continues to lead SLU with a 9-2 singles record. Teammates
Mariam Tetradze and
Paige Duncan both enter Wednesday's match with a 7-2 singles marks.
Tirado and Tetradze boast the team's best doubles mark at 7-3.
Aitana Darder and
Taisia Bolsova are 6-6 as a tandem this spring.
UL Lafayette is led in singles play by Angelique Berrat, who is 8-1 overall on the No. 1 singles court. Berrat and Nicole Krecklenberg have a team-best 6-2 doubles mark for the Ragin' Cajuns.
Following Wednesday's contest, Southeastern returns home to host SFA for a SLC match Saturday. First serve is set for 3 p.m. at the Southeastern Tennis Complex and live stats will be accessible via the tennis schedule page at
