HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's tennis team will return to action Friday, hosting Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a 10 a.m. Southland Conference match at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

Southeastern opened SLC play with a pair of 4-3 road victories at UIW and Lamar. The Lions enter Friday's match on a three-match winning streak.
Adriana Tirado (9-1, 2-0 SLC) boasts the team's best singles mark. Teammates
Paige Duncan (7-1, 2-0 SLC) and
Aitana Darder (3-1, 2-0 SLC) also carry undefeated singles marks in league play.
Tirado and
Mariam Tetradze (7-3, 1-1 SLC) comprise the team's top doubles tandem. Darder and
Taisia Bolsova (6-5, 1-1 SLC), as well as
Bente Bierma and Duncan (4-3, 1-1 SLC) have also had success in doubles play for SLU.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi opened league play with a 6-1 win over SFA, before dropping a 4-3 decision to Northwestern State. Kseniya Ramanouskaya has a team-best 12-0 singles mark, while teaming with Yana Mykytyn for an 11-0 doubles record.
Saturday's match with Grambling has been postponed. Following Friday's match, SLU will take a break from league play with a 6 p.m. match March 17 at UL Lafayette.
