HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University placed 104 student-athletes on the Fall 2025 Southland Conference Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, which was released Tuesday by the league office.
Student-athletes from the sports of football, soccer, indoor volleyball and cross country were eligible to be named on the list. Student-athletes from those programs with a 3.0 fall 2025 semester grade point average or higher earned SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.
Southeastern student-athletes continue to thrive academically. The Lions and Lady Lions posted a department-wide GPA of 3.23 for the fall semester, marking the 16
th consecutive semester SLU student-athletes have posted a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
Leading the way for the department on the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll this semester was the football program with 50 honorees. The SLU soccer program was represented by 28 selections – the second-highest total in the league among soccer programs.
The Southeastern indoor volleyball team's 18 members on the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll was the most among the conference's indoor volleyball programs. The SLU cross country program rounded out Southeastern's selections with eight honorees.
