NEW ORLEANS – Southeastern Louisiana University freshman David Marsh sits in a tie for fifth place after the completion of the opening two rounds of the Gulf Coast Collegiate Monday evening at the English Turn Golf and Country Club.
 
High scores were the norm throughout the field, as windy conditions prevailed throughout the day. Southeastern sits in ninth place with a two-round score of 635 (+59). Augusta holds an eight-stroke lead, after shooting 35-over par as a team Monday.
 
Marsh shot nine-over par over two rounds to pace SLU. He sits three shots behind day-one co-leaders Pieter Rossouw of Augusta, Maximillian Feistmand of New Orleans and Bogdan Sandrini of Central Arkansas. Sandrini's second-round 70 was the only round under par of the day.
 
Griffin Dorr (+15, T31st), Lorenzo Palmieri (+16, T36th), Noah Bumgarner (+22, T56th) and Patrick Blaum (+23, T63rd) rounded out the Southeastern starting five.
