MATHEWS, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team shot four-under par to sit in second after the first two rounds of the La Tour Intercollegiate wrapped up Monday at La Tour Golf Club.
 
Southeastern will head into Tuesday's final round six strokes back of East Texas A&M (-10) in the team standings. SLU will be paired with the other Lions and host Nicholls (-1) for the final 18 holes, which tee off at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.
 
Leading the way for Southeastern Monday was senior Colby Sullivan, who carded a second-round 66 to finish five-under par for the day. The Keizer, Ore. native was the only player in the field who finished under par on par 3s Monday is one stroke behind day one leader Daniel Ferguson of East Texas A&M.
 
Sullivan was one of four SLU starters to finish Monday's action in the top 20. David Marsh (-1, T6th), Landen East (+1, T12th) and Luca Rimauro (+3, T19th) are all on the top half of the leader board.
 
Hudson Partin (+5, T24th) rounded out the starting five for the Lions. Gavin Ingram (+3, T19th), Hayden Webber (+6, T28th) and Preston Paulk (+10, T40th) are all competing as individuals for SLU.
