HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team is set for its third tournament of the fall, as the Lions will head to Jonesboro, Ark. to compete in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday at RidgePointe Country Club.
SLU is one of 17 teams competing in the tournament, which opens with the first two rounds Monday with the final 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday. Live scoring, provided by host Arkansas State, will be accessible via the men's golf schedule page at
www.LionSports.net.
In addition to host Arkansas State, Southeastern will also be part of a field that includes four Southland Conference schools. Nicholls, LSU New Orleans and UIW join the Lions this week in Jonesboro.
David Marsh (70.7 stroke average) and
Hudson Partin (72.3) will be in the SLU starting five for the third time this fall, while
Hayden Webber (77.0) and
Colby Sullivan (74.7) will each be competing for the second time. Lion
Landen East will make his 2026-27 debut this week, as will teammate
Gavin Ingram, who is representing Southeastern as an individual.
Southeastern finished sixth in the 2025-26 Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate. Marsh (-2, T6th) and Sullivan (+1, T13th) were the top performers for the Lions last season on the same course.
Following this week's action, SLU will close out the fall Oct. 19-20 at the LaTour Intercollegiate in Mathews, La.
