HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's basketball teams will continue Southland Conference play during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The SLU men's basketball team (4-10, 1-4 SLC) will open the week at home, hosting Lamar at 6 p.m. Monday. Fans are encouraged to wear green to help Green Out the UC Monday, when Southeastern will also celebrate Military Appreciation Night. Saturday will see the Lions hit the road to take on reigning SLC champion McNeese at 4 p.m.
 
The Southeastern women's basketball team (2-10, 1-4 SLC) will also open the week's action at home, hosting New Orleans for a 6 p.m. contest Thursday. Fans can wear their best gold SLU gear for the Gold Out Thursday, which will also feature the Residential Life Rivalry.
 
Emma Lucio is Thursday's Spotlight Player of the Game and the first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring the Edinburg, Texas native, courtesy of PRIDE. The Lady Lions will join the men's team in Lake Charles Saturday, facing McNeese at 1 p.m.

All of this week's SLU men's and women's basketball contests will be televised on ESPN+.
