HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University football, soccer and two-time reigning Southland Conference champion indoor volleyball teams will look to continue their undefeated starts to conference play, while the two-time reigning SLC Tournament champion softball team hosts a pair of exhibitions during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The SLU football team (3-2, 1-0 SLC) will open the road portion of its league slate this week. The Lions will head to McNeese for a 6 p.m. contest Saturday in Lake Charles.
 
The Southeastern soccer team (3-4-3, 2-0-1 SLC) carries a six-match unbeaten streak into this week's trip. SLU will be in Natchitoches Thursday for a 7 p.m. Southland contest at Northwestern State.
 
The Lady Lion indoor volleyball team (10-4, 2-0 SLC) hits the road on a five-match winning streak of its own. Southeastern will open the week with a 6 p.m. SLC match at Lamar Thursday, before traveling to SFA for a noon contest Saturday.
 
The SLU softball team will host a pair of 10-inning fall scrimmages this week at North Oak Park. The Lady Lions host LSU Eunice Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Northwest Mississippi Community College Sunday at noon.

This week's football, soccer and volleyball action will be televised on ESPN+.
 
The 2025 season of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo will continue Monday at 7 p.m. at Brady's in downtown Hammond. Scelfo and host Allen Waddell will discuss all things Lion football on the hour-long show weekly during the season, which airs on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 97.7 FM/WFPR 1400 AM).
 
Chad Gulino of Brady's will be Monday's Community Spotlight Guest.
 
The same Southeastern Sports Radio Network stations will broadcast Saturday's football game.
