HAMMOND, La. – The two-time reigning Southland Conference Tournament champion Southeastern Louisiana University softball program was represented by 14 student-athletes on the 2024-25 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete list released by the NFCA Thursday.
Southeastern, which finished with a 3.416 team grade point average for the 2024-25 academic year, was represented on the list by pitcher

Aniya Harris, pitcher

Shelby Morris, catcher
Cydnee Schneider and first baseman
Maddie Watson.
To be eligible for inclusion on the list, student-athletes must have posted a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the 2024-25 academic year. Detillier was named Southland Conference Student-Athlete of the Year and was joined on the league's all-academic teams by LaRue, Morris and Burns. SLU also were tops among all SLC softball programs with 25 representatives on the Spring 2025 SLC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
The Lady Lions will officially open their 2026 campaign at the NFCA Leadoff Classic, scheduled for Feb. 5-8 in Clearwater, Florida. SLU's eight-game fall exhibition slate opens with a 10-inning scrimmage versus Pensacola State Sept. 26 at 4:30 p.m. at North Oak Park.
