HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University football, two-time reigning Southland Conference champion indoor volleyball and soccer teams will all hit the road during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
The SLU football team (0-1) will be on the road for the second straight week. The Lions will head to Murray State for a 6 p.m. contest Saturday in Murray, Ky.
The Southeastern volleyball team (3-0) rolled through the Southeastern Showdown unbeaten for a successful start to the Lee McBride Era. SLU will open its road slate, competing in the Central Arkansas Invitational in Conway, Ark. The Lady Lions will face Little Rock Friday at 11 a.m., before taking on tourney host UCA Saturday at noon.
The Southeastern soccer team (0-3) will also face Little Rock this week, traveling to take on the Trojans Thursday at 7 p.m. SLU closes its road swing at Grambling Sunday for a 1 p.m. match.
On the Air
Saturday's football game and Thursday's soccer contest will be televised on ESPN+.
The 2025 season of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo will continue Monday at 7 p.m. at Brady's in downtown Hammond. Scelfo and host Allen Waddell will discuss all things Lion football on the hour-long show weekly during the season, which airs on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 97.7 FM/WFPR 1400 AM).
Monday's Community Spotlight Guest will be 21
st Judicial District Attorney Scott Perrilloux.
The same Southeastern Sports Radio Network stations will broadcast Saturday's football game.
