HAMMOND, La. – The reigning Southland Conference Tournament champion Southeastern Louisiana University softball team has moved up its upcoming Southland Conference series with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at North Oak Park
 
Because of expected inclement weather this weekend, the three-game series originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday has been moved up a day.
 
The series between the Lady Lions (26-8, 8-1 SLC) and visiting Islanders (9-20, 3-6 SLC) opens up with a 4 p.m. doubleheader Thursday and features fireworks following the games. The three-game set wraps up with a noon contest Friday. The series will be televised on ESPN+ and can be heard online at LionUpRadio.org.
