HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University beach volleyball team begins its 2025 spring schedule in New Orleans to compete in the second annual Tulane Invitational at the White Sands Volleyball Courts.
SLU will open serves in its first of two matches Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. against the home-standing Tulane Green Wave. The Lady Lions will end the opening day of the two-day tournament against conference rival New Orleans at 12 p.m.
Southeastern will return to the sand to face the reigning Southland Conference champions Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Saturday morning at 11 a.m., before ending the weekend against UAB at 1:30 p.m.
The Lady Lions returned 10 players from last year's roster with 11 newcomers to continue to propel the program from last season's success. Southeastern was picked sixth in the SLC Preseason Poll as

Mia McKinney,
Mia Sauers and newcomer Gabriela Hrubanova were selected among the SLC Players to Watch. McKinney has been named to the watch list for the third consecutive season, while Sauers also claimed a spot on the list last season as a freshman.
