HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's basketball teams will continue Southland Conference play during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The SLU men's basketball team (4-8, 1-2 SLC) will open the week on the road with a 2 p.m. contest at UIW Tuesday. The Lions return home Saturday to host SFA for a 3:30 p.m. matchup in the University Center.
 
The Lady Lion women's basketball team (2-8, 1-2 SLC) will return to the court Wednesday for a 1 p.m. game at UIW. SLU will be back at home Saturday for a 1 p.m. game versus SFA.
 
Fans are encouraged to help Southeastern "Light Up the New Year" Saturday by wearing their brightest neon and glow gear to the SLC doubleheader.
