FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's cross country teams sent three runners to the NCAA South-Central Regional Championships at Agri Park Friday.
In her second consecutive appearance at the Regionals,
Ava Pitarro crossed the finish line with a 24:47.6 time, placing 162
nd in the 6K race.
In the men's 10K race,
Tanner Salsman clocked a 34:56.5 time to finish 149
th in the first 10K event of his collegiate career. Also competing in his first 10K,
Landen Schillage placed 165
th, recording a time of 37:14.9.
In the women's event, Texas A&M took first, ending the day with a score of 71. In the men's race, Tulane and meet host Arkansas had the strongest showing in the South-Central Regionals. The Green Wave scored 44, taking first place by two points to Arkansas' 46.
