HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team will return to action this week, heading to Jonesboro, Ark. Monday and Tuesday to compete in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate at Ridgepointe Country Club.
Monday's first two rounds tee off at 8 a.m. with the final 18 holes set for Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. Live scoring, provided by host Arkansas State, will be accessible on the golf schedule page at

SLU will head into its third tournament of the fall with three freshmen –
David Marsh,
Lorenzo Palmieri and
Gavin Ingram – in the lineup. The Lion rookies will be joined in the starting five by veterans
Noah Bumgarner and
Colby Sullivan.
Marsh and Bumgarner are the only Lions to play in all three tournaments this fall, while Marsh, Palmieri and Ingram will tee off for the second time in 2025-26.
Southeastern and Arkansas State will be two of the 12 teams competing on the par-72, 6,776-yard course. The field also includes SLU's Southland Conference rivals East Texas A&M and New Orleans, as well as Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Evansville, Lindenwood, Murray State, Oklahoma Christian, Tennessee State and UT Martin.
The Lions will be paired with UNO and Murray State for Monday's first two rounds.
This week's tournament will be third of five on the Southeastern fall schedule. SLU will next head to Killen, Ala. Oct. 13-14 to compete in the Turtle Point Invite, hosted by North Alabama.
