CLINTON, Miss. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's cross country teams competed in its final pre-Southland Conference Championships meet Friday at the Watson College Classic at Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Miss.
The Lions finished in 14
th place in the men's standings. The Lady Lions only competed with three runners and didn't take part in the team competition.
Tanner Salsman led SLU on the men's side, finishing 44
th with a time of 26:29.45 on the 8K course.

st) also represented SLU in the field.
The Southland Conference Championships are set for Halloween in Natchitoches, La. The meet will be televised on ESPN+ and live scoring, provided by the Southland Conference, will be accessible via the cross country schedule page at
