HAMMOND, La. – A total of 90 Southeastern Louisiana University student-athletes were among the 1,205 members of the Fall 2024 Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, which was released by the league office Wednesday.
Student-athletes from the sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball who finished the Fall 2024 semester with a semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher were eligible to be named to the list.
The Southeastern football team led the department with 33 representatives on the list. The SLU women's soccer team followed with 29 members – the most among the 11 SLC women's soccer programs.
The Southland Conference regular season champion Lady Lion indoor volleyball team was third among SLC indoor volleyball programs with 15 selections. The cross country program rounded out the Southeastern contingent with 13 representatives (seven men, six women).
Of the 90 student-athletes representing SLU on the list, 23 finished the fall semester with a 4.0 semester GPA.
