HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team officially opens the 2024-25 season this week, competing in the Grover Page Classic Monday and Tuesday at the Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tennessee.
Southeastern will be one of 15 teams taking on the 6,489-yard, par-72 course. Monday's first two rounds tee off at 8:15 a.m. with Tuesday's final round set for 8:45 a.m. Live scoring, provided by host UT Martin, will be accessible via the golf schedule page at
www.LionSports.net.
The Lions and host Skyhawks will be joined in the tournament field by New Orleans, SIU Edwardsville, Belmont, Tennessee Tech, West Georgia, Tennessee State, Morehead State, Murray State, Presbyterian, Missouri State, Austin Peay, Southern Indiana and Eastern Illinois.

Patrick Blaum,
Colby Sullivan,
Griffin Dorr and
Landen East will be joined by true freshman
Viggo Hed in the starting five for the season-opening tournament.
Noah Bumgarner will represent the Lions as an individual.
This week's tournament will be the first of four this fall for head coach
Lawrence Allan's squad. Following the Grover Page Classic, Southeastern will return to the course Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
