HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University senior Grayson Glorioso added another postseason accolade to his resume Wednesday, as he was named to the 2023-24 Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-Louisiana Men's Golf Team in an announcement from the LSWA.
 
Glorioso was a second team selection. The Metairie, Louisiana native was previously named second team All-Southland Conference and second team Southland Conference All-Academic.
 
Southeastern's top performer throughout his final campaign, Glorioso finished the season with a 71.67 stroke average over 27 rounds. He posted top-20 finishes in five different tournaments, including top-10 showings at the HCU Colin Montgomerie Invitational (T3rd), The Big Texan (4^th) and the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate (T9th).
 
The top-10 finishes at HCU and The Big Texan allowed him to earn SLC Golfer of the Month honors. His low round of the season was a 66 at the HCU tournament and was one of 13 subpar rounds for Glorioso in 2023-24.
 
LSU's Conner Gaunt was named the state's Player of the Year, while Nilo Maki-Petaja of Louisiana Tech was named Freshman of the Year. The two individual award winners were joined on the first team by the LSU duo of Jay Mendell and Drew Doyle, as well as Centenary's Andrew Bennett.
 
Glorioso led a second team crew that included Melan Dhaubhadel of ULM, UL Lafayette's Malan Potgieter, as well as New Orleans teammates Kyle Bennett and Matt Weber. UNO's Jeff Lorio was named Coach of the Year.
 
The All-Louisiana men's golf teams were selected by the state's golf media relations contacts. Voters were not allowed to vote for nominees from their school.
