HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University senior Grayson Glorioso was named to the 2024 All-Southland Conference Men's Golf Teams, which were announced by the league office Thursday.
 
Glorioso, the lone senior on the 2023-24 SLU roster, was a second team selection. The Metairie, Louisiana native was the Lions' top performer throughout his final collegiate campaign.
 
Glorioso finished the season with a 71.67 stroke average over 27 rounds. He posted top-20 finishes in five different tournaments, including top-10 showings at the HCU Colin Montgomerie Invitational (T3rd), The Big Texan (4^th) and the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate (T9th).
 
The top-10 finishes at HCU and The Big Texan allowed him to earn SLC Golfer of the Month honors. His low round of the season was a 66 at the HCU tournament and was one of 13 subpar rounds for Glorioso in 2023-24.
 
Southland Conference individual medalist Cole Stevens of conference champion Augusta was named Player and Newcomer of the Year. Augusta's Steven Paine was named SLC Coach of the Year, while Nathan Woodham of Lamar was tabbed the league's top freshman.
 
The All-Southland Conference teams and individual superlatives were selected by the Southland men's golf head coaches and media relations contacts. Schools weren't allowed to vote for their own nominees.
