HAMMOND, La. – After helping the Southeastern Louisiana University softball team to a 5-0 week, senior Audrey Greely was named the Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Hitter of the Week in an announcement from the league office Monday.
 
Greely, who received SLC Hitter of the Week accolades for the third time in her career, is the latest Lady Lion to receive weekly recognition from the Southland this spring, joining teammates Bailey Krolczyk (Feb. 12, April 1), Maddie Watson (March 4), Lexi Johnson (March 18) and Ellie DuBois (Feb. 12).
 
Greely hit .571 (8-for-14) for the week, as Southeastern extended its win streak to 10 games with a nonconference doubleheader sweep of Jackson State, followed by an SLC road three-game series sweep of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Her week was highlighted by a 3-for-3 showing in a 4-2 win over Jackson State and a two-RBI performance in a 5-0 win over the Islanders in the series finale.
 
A three-time All-Southland and All-Louisiana performer, Greely is hitting .330 in her final season in the green and gold. She currently ranks among the SLC leaders in runs (23, 9^th), sacrifice flies (2, 8^th) and stolen bases (13, 8^th).
 
The Lady Lions will next head to Baton Rouge to face LSU in a 6 p.m. nonconference contest Wednesday to close out a four-game road swing. The game will be televised on SEC Network+.
 
The Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office will be accepting donations to the Lion Food Pantry Monday through Friday this week and are collecting ramen noodles, rice, pasta and granola bars. Anyone who donates will receive a free ticket to either the April 23 softball doubleheader or the baseball contests on April 23 or 24.
