KERRVILLE, Texas – Griffin Dorr shot an even-par 72 to lead the Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team in the second round of the Southland Conference Championships Tuesday at Comanche Trace.
 
Southeastern was 10 shots better in round two than it finished in Monday's first round. The Lions (+32) remained in eighth place through 36 holes. Augusta (-13) heads into the final round with a 10-stroke lead over second place Lamar.
 
Dorr, who was substituted into the lineup following Monday's first round, was the top performer for the Lions Tuesday. He was particularly strong on the back nine, notching a pair of birdies and recording an eagle on the 578-yard, par-five 13^th hole.
 
Grayson Glorioso (+6, T23rd) fired his second straight round of 75 and birdied four of the final eight holes Tuesday. Colby Sullivan (+8, T27th), Patrick Blaum (+12, 36^th) and Landen East (+13, T37th) were the other participants for the Lions. Cole Stevens of Augusta (-9) has a five-stroke lead in the individual standings through 36 holes.
 
Southeastern will be paired with UIW for Wednesday's final round, which tees off at 10 a.m. Live scoring will be accessible via the men's golf schedule page at www.LionSports.net. Final round coverage will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday on ESPN+.
