HOUSTON, Texas – The Southeastern Louisiana University beach volleyball team closed its 2024 season Friday afternoon in the second round of an elimination match with a 3-0 loss to San Jose State in the SLC Beach Volleyball Championship Tournament.
The sixth-seeded Southeastern (13-19) secured a 3-2 win over seventh-seeded McNeese (14-11) Saturday morning. SLU's pair one, three and five defeated the Cowgirls to claim the victory to advance to the second round of the elimination bracket. Junior

SLU ended its run in the tournament after falling 3-0 to fourth-seeded San Jose State (11-14) to close out day two for the second consecutive season. The Spartans gained the upper hand securing three early wins over the Lady Lions by two-sets.
