NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University beach volleyball team divided two duals Saturday afternoon in the Southland Mid-Season Invitational at Privateer Beach to end day two.
The Lady Lions (8-9, 2-3 SLC) secure their second win of the tournament with a 4-1 win over McNeese after falling 4-1 to San Jose State Saturday afternoon. Southeastern sparked some momentum later in the day to position itself in the winning category to end day two of the three day conference showcase.
Saturday's Results:
Southeastern will cap the weekend Sunday afternoon against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1:15 p.m. before rematching against Nicholls at 5:15 p.m. to end the Southland Mid-Season Invitational. All matches will be played in New Orleans, La at Privateer Beach.
