THIBODAUX, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University Beach Volleyball team secured two dominant wins in the Bayou Battle Saturday afternoon in Thibodaux, La.
Southeastern (3-3) gained two wins over conference rivals Nicholls and New Orleans to end the weekend undefeated. Sophomore
Mia McKinney and freshman
Mia Sauers swept their opponents in both matches with commanding two set victories for the second week in a row. SLU's top pair
Andrea Da Silva and
Rachel Hartmann continue to lead the Lady Lions with a down to the wire match as they progress to 5-1 this season. The matchup against Mary Hardin-Baylor was cancelled due to a weather delay as SLU filled in the vacancy with a match against Nicholls. Southeastern controlled the match over Nicholls, limiting the Colonels to only one match victory.
