HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University placed 90 student-athletes on the Fall 2023 Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, which was released by the league office Friday.
Student-athletes from the sports of football, cross country, women's soccer and indoor volleyball with a Fall 2023 semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher were eligible for inclusion on the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The SLU football program led the department with 36 student-athletes on the list. The Southeastern soccer team was represented by 23 team members.
The Southland Conference regular season and tournament champion SLU indoor volleyball team was second among league volleyball programs with 18 selections. A total of 13 Lion and Lady Lion cross country runners also made the list.
The Southland Conference's 10 member institutions placed a total of 863 student-athletes on the SLC Fall 2023 Commissioner's Honor Roll
