HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's basketball team opens Southland Conference play, while the women's basketball team closes the nonconference portion of it 2024-25 schedule during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Southeastern men's basketball team (3-4) will open the week with a nonconference contest Monday at Tulane with tip-off set for 6:30 p.m. The Lions then head to SLC rival Nicholls Thursday for the 6:30 p.m. league opener.
 
The SLU women's basketball team (5-2) returns home Thursday to host Spring Hill at 11 a.m. in the annual Field Trip Game at the University Center. Mo'Nique Joseph is Thursday's Spotlight Player of the Game and the first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring the Lake Worth, Florida native, courtesy of PRIDE.
 
The Lady Lions will then head to Houston for a 1 p.m. contest against the Cougars Sunday to close out nonconference play.
