HAMMOND, La. – The reigning Southland Conference Tournament champion Southeastern Louisiana University softball team rolled to a 35-1 victory over Arkansas-Rich Mountain in a 10-inning exhibition Friday evening at North Oak Park.
 
SLU finished with 28 hits on the way to its fifth straight fall scrimmage win. Lainee Bailey and Kailey Dixon each had three hits, while Blair Walsh had three hits, including a three-run home run.
 
Dixon and Colleen Kulivan led Southeastern with five RBI each, while Bailey and Walsh each drove in four runs. Dixon also scored a team-high five runs, while Shenita Tucker and Chloe Magee each scored four.
 
Four Southeastern pitchers – Britney Lewinski, Hallie Burns, Macie LaRue and Bailey - combined to hold the visiting Bucks to three hits. The SLU quartet combined for 16 strikeouts on the night. Burns and LaRue each fanned five, while Bailey finished with four for the Lady Lions.
 
Southeastern will open its final week of fall play Monday, hosting Hinds Community College for a 10-inning exhibition at 5 p.m. at North Oak Park.
