HAMMOND, La. – Colby Sullivan and Griffin Dorr will continue their academic and athletic endeavors as members of the Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf program, SLU head coach Lawrence Allan announced Tuesday.
 
Sullivan, who hails from Keizer, Oregon, and Dorr, a Covington, Louisiana native, will join the program for the 2023-24 season. The duo joins Noah Bumgarner (Lenoir, North Carolina), Ethan Dial (Shreveport, Louisiana), Landen East (Sulphur, Louisiana) and Lexton Ford (Lenoir, North Carolina) as members of the 2023-24 Southeastern golf signing class.
 
Sullivan just completed a story book senior season at McNary High School, as he won the Oregon Class 6A championship after also winning the district and regional tournaments preceding the state tournament. Overall, he won four of five Central Valley Conference tournaments, as well as three of four championships. His father, Chip Sullivan, has played in over 50 PGA tournaments, including nine majors.
 
"Colby will be a great addition to our program," Allan commented. "He is not only a good golfer, but also an excellent student with the personal qualities we're looking for here at Southeastern."
 
Dorr comes to Hammond after spending the first two years of his collegiate career at Central Alabama Community College. As a senior at St. Paul's High School, he helped the Wolves win the state championship, taking individual medalist honors at the tournament after carding an opening-round 65.
 
"We're very excited to welcome Griffin to our team," Allan said. "We'll have a lot of new faces in the fall and Griffin will bring needed experience to our roster."
