HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team will close out the 2023 regular season and celebrate Senior Day during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lions (21-25, 6-14 SLC) have four home games on tap this week. SLU closes its nonconference schedule with a 6 p.m. contest versus South Alabama Tuesday. Southeastern then welcomes Northwestern State for a three-game Southland Conference series at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. The series opens Thursday at 6 p.m., continues Friday at 6 p.m. and concluded Saturday at 2 p.m.
 
General admission tickets are available for $5 every Friday during the season. Fans will have a chance to win prizes by playing Baseball Bingo every home Saturday at the Pat. The SLU senior class will be honored in a pregame Senior Day ceremony prior to Saturday's series finale.

All of this week's baseball action will be televised on ESPN+ and can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU 90.9 FM.  
 
The 2023 edition of Inside Southeastern Baseball with Matt Riser continues Monday at noon from the patio at Cate Street Seafood Station. Riser will join co-host Allen Waddell at lunchtime every Monday during the season for the 60-minute show, talking the latest in Southeastern baseball. Cate Street Seafood Station is located at 308 S. Cate Street, next to the railroad tracks in downtown Hammond. The show can be heard in the Hammond area on KSLU 90.9 FM.
