CONWAY, S.C. – The Southeastern Louisiana University Beach Volleyball team picked up a split of their two matches on the first day of the Carolina Challenge, falling to Tampa 4-1 before defeating Erskine 4-1 Friday at the Coastal Carolina Beach Volleyball Complex.
Friday's Results:
The Lady Lions (7-16) wrap up their time in South Carolina on Saturday with a pair of matches against teams receiving votes in the AVCA Coaches Top 25. Southeastern opens the day against the host Coastal Carolina (18-9) with a match scheduled for 12:00 p.m. EDT/11:00 a.m. CDT. The weekend wraps up with a match against the College of Charleston (17-6) at 2:00 p.m. EDT/1:00 p.m. CDT. All matches of the Coastal Carolina Invitational will be played at the Coastal Carolina Beach Volleyball Complex.
