CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The fifth-seeded Southeastern Louisiana University Beach Volleyball team will have to dig itself out of the elimination bracket to make a run at the 2023 Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championships after dropping its first round match to the fourth-seeded New Orleans Privateers 3-1 Friday afternoon at Water's Edge Park.
Friday's Results:
The fifth-seeded Lady Lions (8-22) will now have to come out of the elimination bracket, looking to win three matches on Saturday, to make it to Championship Day on Sunday. The first step of that climb begins at 10:00 a.m. against the sixth-seed San Jose State (10-8), who dropped their opening round match Friday in straight sets to the third-seeded Boise State Broncos.
