TUNICA, Miss. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team finished fourth at the Tunica National Intercollegiate, which wrapped up Tuesday at Tunica National.
The Lions finished with a three-day score of 876 (+12) in their final tournament before next week's Southland Conference Championships. Southeastern, which led the field with 52 birdies over three rounds, finished 13 strokes behind tournament co-champions Arkansas State and UT Arlington (-1).
Michael Landry shot an even par 72 Tuesday to finish in a tie for fifth place in the individual standings. Landry, who finished with a tournament score of three-under par 213, was third among all players with 14 birdies over three rounds.
Charlie Forster (T11th, E) shot a 73 Tuesday, as did teammate
Grayson Glorioso (T35th, +8).
Patrick Blaum (T51st, +14) carded a 74 in the final round – his low round of the week – and
Cameron Mobley (T54th, +15) rounded out the field. Missouri State's Max Kreikemeier finished with a three-day score of -11 to earn individual medalist honors.
Southeastern will look to defend its Southland Conference championship at next week's league tournament. The three-day event opens Tuesday, April 25 at the Hill Country Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas.
