Day One Scoring
 
TUNICA, Miss. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf duo of Michael Landry and Charlie Foster both sit in the top 10 in the individual standings after the opening day of the Tunica National Intercollegiate Monday at Tunica National.
 
Landry and Forster both carded under par scores to help Southeastern sit in fifth place after the first 36 holes. The Lions, who finished eight-over par over the first two rounds, are nine strokes behind day one leader and tournament host Arkansas State (-1).
 
Landry was Southeastern's top finisher, backing up an opening-round 72 with a 69 over the final 18 holes. The LaPlace, Louisiana native (-3) sits in a tie for fourth place. Forster rode an opening-round 69 to a tie for seventh, finishing with a one-under par 143 over the opening day.
 
Forster led the field with 10 birdies Monday, while Landry was right behind his teammate with nine. Southeastern was second among the 12 teams with 33 birdies on Monday.
 
Grayson Glorioso opened the back nine of the opening round with Southeastern's lone eagle of the day. He and teammate Cameron Mobley are tied for 40^th place at seven-over par. Patrick Blaum (T57th, +12) rounded out the SLU lineup.
 
Southeastern will be paired with Samford and Jacksonville State for Tuesday's final round and is scheduled to tee off at 8 a.m. Live scoring, provided by the hosts, will be available via the men's golf schedule at www.LionSports.net.
