NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University Beach Volleyball team battled strongly to open play in the Privateer Beach Invitational at the University of New Orleans, but ultimately fell 4-1 to both the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks and the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks Thursday at the Privateer Beach Complex.

The Lady Lions (7-20) finish its 2023 regular season on Friday with two more matches at the Privateer Beach Invitational, taking on the Warhawks for a second time in the event at 2:00 p.m. before wrapping things up against the host New Orleans Privateers at 3:30 p.m. at the Privateer Beach Complex.
