BATON ROUGE, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University Beach Volleyball team finished a tough weekend in the Louisiana state capitol by dropping a pair of matches to two nationally ranked foes, falling 5-0 to both #19 South Carolina and #5 LSU on Sunday to wrap up play in the Tiger Beach Challenge at the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium.
Sunday's Results:
The Lady Lions (3-6, 0-0 SLC) head to Houston next weekend for the Southland Conference Mid-Year Event, a big event for postseason seeding as all four matches are Southland Conference matches. On Saturday, Southeastern opens the event with a 9:00 a.m. match against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5-4, 1-0 SLC) and wrap up day one of the event against Boise State (6-2, 0-0 SLC) at 1:00 p.m. with all matches taking place at the Third Coast Volleyball Club.

Fans interested in becoming active supporters of the Southeastern volleyball program are encouraged to join the Diggin' It Club. Lion volleyball alums are encouraged to join the exclusive S Club, which is restricted to Southeastern athletic letter winners.
