HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University softball team will return to action Tuesday for a 2 p.m. nonconference doubleheader at Alcorn State.

SLU has won five of its last seven games heading into the twin bill. Southeastern took two of three from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in its first home Southland Conference series.
The Lady Lions are hitting .301 as a team with
Bailey Krolczyk (.400),
Maria Detillier (.354),
Audrey Greely (.346),
Lexi Johnson (.306) and
Cam Goodman (.305) leading the way. Detillier has a team-high 26 runs scored, while Krolczyk leads the squad with 36 hits. Goodman leads SLU with 17 stolen bases and is one of four Lady Lions with double-digit stolen bases.
Johnson leads the team with six home runs and 29 RBI, while Krolczyk and Detillier have hit five home runs each. Krolczyk and Greely share the team lead with seven doubles, while Johnson and
Madison Rayner each have three triples.
KK Ladner (8-1, 1.34 ERA),
Cera Blanchard (10-4, 2.58 ERA, 1 save) and
Mary-Cathryn (MC) Comeaux (4-2, 3.16 ERA, 1 save) have led a SLU pitching staff that has a 2.77 team earned run average.
Ellie DuBois (0-0, 7.38 ERA, 1 save),
Alyssa Romano (1-0, 2.92 ERA),
Lainee Bailey (0-0, 4.50 ERA, 1 save),
Leah Marshall (1-0, 2.80 ERA) and
Chyanne Ellett (1-1, 10.50 ERA) round out the available arms for Southeastern.
Alcorn State carries a .233 team batting average into Tuesday's games. Marsha Hunt leads the Lady Braves with a .349 batting average.
ASU has a 7.58 team earned run average. Alexa Veamoi (2-6, 5.03 ERA, 1 save) and Kiri Parker (2-6, 8.74 ERA, 1 save) are the top arms for the Lady Braves.
Following Tuesday's action, Southeastern will return home to host Texas A&M-Commerce for a three-game Southland Conference series, opening with a 4 p.m. doubleheader Friday. Fans will have the opportunity to spin the prize wheel and enjoy postgame fireworks at Friday's game.
The series closes with a noon contest Saturday. Fans will have a chance to win prizes by playing Bingo at the Ballpark and kids will have a chance to run the bases postgame. The series will be televised on ESPN+ and live stats will be available at
