HOUSTON, Texas – The Southeastern Louisiana University Beach Volleyball team looked to get back on the winning track on the first day of the Southland Showcase, but ultimately dropped a pair of conference matches, 4-1 to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and 3-2 to Boise State, Saturday afternoon at the Third Coast Volleyball Club.

The Lady Lions (3-8, 0-2 SLC) look to end their six-match slide on Sunday during day two of the Southland Showcase as Southeastern takes on San Jose' State and host Houston Christian. Match times are set for 9:00 a.m. against the Spartans (5-1, 1-1 SLC) and 1:00 p.m. against the Huskies (3-6, 1-1 SLC) with both matches taking place at the Third Coast Volleyball Club.
 
DIGGIN' IT CLUB / S CLUB
Fans interested in becoming active supporters of the Southeastern volleyball program are encouraged to join the Diggin' It Club. Lion volleyball alums are encouraged to join the exclusive S Club, which is restricted to Southeastern athletic letter winners.
