Final Results
DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. – Charlie Forster and
Cameron Mobley each shot under par for the final round to help the Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team finish fourth at the 2023 Gulf Coast Intercollegiate, which wrapped up Tuesday at the Diamondhead Country Club.
Southeastern shot its lowest round of its first tournament of the spring Tuesday, carding a one-over par 289 over the final 18 holes to finish the tournament with a score of 890 (+26).
Forster finished with five birdies Tuesday and shot a 69 to finish in third place in the individual standings at -4. Mobley bounced back from a tough opening day to card a one-under par 71 and finish tied for 21
st (+12).
Michael Landry joined Forster in the top 20, finishing in a tie for 16
th (+10).
Grayson Glorioso (+13, T22) and
Patrick Blaum (+13, T22) rounded out the Southeastern finishers.
North Alabama (+12) won the tournament by nine strokes over runner-up Jacksonville State. UNA's Francois Jacobs finished seven-under par to take individual medalist honors.
Southeastern will return to action March 6-7 at the Colin Montgomerie Intercollegiate in Sugar Land, Texas.
