HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University placed 11 student-athletes during the Fall 2023 semester on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams.
 
The Southeastern football team placed five student-athletes on the teams, followed by the soccer program with four selections and the Southland Conference regular season and tournament champion indoor volleyball team with two. Three SLU student-athletes – Mya Guillory (soccer), Cicily Hidalgo (indoor volleyball) and Austin Dunlap (football) were candidates for Academic All-America.
 
To be eligible for inclusion on the CSC Academic All-District teams, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and serve as a key contributor that has played in at least 90 percent of his or her team's contests.
