HAMMOND, La. – A total of 44 members of the Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics family were among the over 1,000 graduates to have degrees conferred at the university's Fall 2023 commencement exercises Saturday in the Pride Roofing University Center.
 
The football program led the department with 15 graduates Saturday. The track program followed with six graduates, followed by the baseball team with three. The softball, women's basketball, soccer and Lionnette dance team each were represented by two graduates, while the men's basketball and cheerleading teams each had one.
 
Saturday's graduates also included 10 members of the Southeastern Athletics support staff. Southeastern student-athletes finished the Fall 2023 semester with a combined 3.16 grade point average as a department.
