HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's basketball teams will continue nonconference play during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
The SLU men's basketball team (2-7) will close out its four-game road swing with a pair of nonconference contests away from home. Southeastern will head to Louisiana Tech Tuesday for a 6 p.m. contest before making the trek to Murray State for a 3 p.m. contest Saturday.
The Southeastern women's basketball team (4-4) will return to action for the first time in over two weeks. The Lady Lions will welcome South Alabama to the Pride Roofing University Center for a 6 p.m. contest Friday.
The Lady Lions' last game before Christmas will feature an ugly Christmas sweater party, as fans are encouraged to wear their tacky Christmas sweaters to Friday's game. Breyionce George is Friday's Spotlight Player of the Game and the first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring the SLU freshman, courtesy of PRIDE.
