KILLEN, Ala. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team posted its low round of the tournament to finish in sixth place at the MartinFed Invite, which wrapped up Tuesday at Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club.
Southeastern carded a 290 (+2) as a team over the final 18 holes to finish at 11-over par for the tournament. Tuesday marked the first time in four tries this fall in which SLU shot its best round of the tournament in the final round.
Three Lions –
Grayson Glorioso,
Griffin Dorr and
Landen East – recorded even-par rounds of 72 Tuesday. Glorioso was the top finisher for Southeastern for the fourth time in as many tries in 2023-24. The Metairie, Louisiana native finished three-under par for the tournament, good for a tie for 11
th place.
Dorr was two-under par over the final 36 holes and finished in a tie for 27
th (+3).
Colby Sullivan (+5, T33rd) was tops among the entire field with a one-under par score on par-3 holes this week. East (+6, T36th) and
Nicholas Wall (+29, 67
th) made up the rest of the SLU quintet.
Host North Alabama earned the tournament title, finishing at -20 to best Auburn by two strokes. Alabama's JP Cave (-15) maintained his day one lead to take home individual medalist honors.
