HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's basketball team will host a nationally-televised contest Saturday to highlight this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Southland Conference-leading Lions (13-9, 7-2 Southland) welcome defending league tournament champion Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for an 11 a.m. contest that will air on ESPNEWS. The Lady Lions, currently third in the league standings, (11-8, 6-3 Southland) will close the day's action with a 1:30 p.m. contest versus SLC leader Islanders.
 
All general admission attendance for Saturday's doubleheader will be free. Paid tickets will be required for Top Cat floor seating. North Oaks Health System is the game sponsor and will be providing promotional items. Chrissy Brown is Saturday's Spotlight Player of the Game and the first 150 fans at Saturday's women's game will receive a trading card featuring the Lafayette, Louisiana native courtesy of PRIDE.
 
Southeastern will open the week with a Thursday hoops doubleheader versus UIW. The women's game is set for 5 p.m. with the men's contest scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Natalie Kelly is Thursday's Spotlight Player of the Game and the first 150 fans at Thursday's women's game will receive a trading card featuring the Albany, Louisiana native courtesy of PRIDE.
 
The SLU baseball team will host Fan Day in association with its annual Alumni Game on Sunday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Admission is free.
 
The event kicks off with an autograph session from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. prior to infield warmups. Season ticket holders will be able to pick up their tickets beginning at 1 p.m. First pitch for the scrimmage, which will pit the 2023 Lions against a team featuring SLU baseball alums, is scheduled for 2 p.m. After the game, kids of all ages can run the bases.
 
The Southeastern softball program will host its season ticket pickup party Friday. Season ticket holders can pickup their tickets at 11 a.m. in conjunction with the team's intrasquad scrimmage.

In addition to Saturday's men's basketball game on ESPNEWS, the remainder of this week's basketball games will all air on ESPN+.
 
The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Basketball with David Kiefer will air Tuesday at 7 p.m. on Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM. Airing weekly on Tuesdays through Feb. 21 from Rainbow Daiquiris (14384 W. Thomas St.), the hour-long show will be hosted by Kiefer and Mark Willoughby and cover all things Lion Basketball.
