HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's basketball teams return home for Southland Conference play during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Southland-leading Lions (10-8, 4-1 SLC) and third-place Lady Lions (8-7, 3-2 SLC) will open the week Thursday, hosting Northwestern State with the women's game set for 5 p.m. and men's game following at 7:30 p.m. Saturday sees Texas A&M-Commerce visit the University Center. The women's contest opens the day's action at 1 p.m. with the men's nightcap set for 3:30 p.m.
 
The first 300 Southeastern students attending Thursday's twin bill will receive a free long-sleeved t-shirt courtesy of SLU Athletics. Daija Harvey (Thursday) and Hailey Giaratano (Saturday) are this week's Spotlight Players of the Game. The first 150 fans will receive a training card featuring that game's Spotlight Player of the Game courtesy of PRIDE.

This week's basketball games will all air on ESPN+.
 
The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Basketball with David Kiefer will air Tuesday at 7 p.m. on Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM. Airing weekly on Tuesdays through Feb. 21 from Rainbow Daiquiris (14384 W. Thomas St.), the hour-long show will be hosted by Kiefer and Mark Willoughby and cover all things Lion Basketball.
