HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University football, soccer and volleyball teams hit the road during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The No. 16/17 Southeastern football team (0-1) will face its second straight FBS opponent to open the season. The Lions travel to Boca Raton, Florida to face FAU Saturday at 5 p.m. (CDT).
 
The SLU soccer team (2-1) opens Southland Conference play this week. The Lady Lions face McNeese at 5 p.m. Sunday in Lake Charles.
 
The Lady Lion volleyball team (6-1) heads to Queens, New York to participate in the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic. Southeastern faces host St. John's Friday at 9 a.m., before taking on Stonehill College later in the day at 4 p.m. Saturday's tournament finale is set for 10 a.m.

Saturday's football game will be televised on ESPN+. Sunday's soccer match will be streamed at McNeeseSports.com (Cowboy Insider subscription required). The SLU gridiron matchup at FAU can also be heard on Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM.
 
The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo is set for this week. of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo debuts Sunday. The show will air weekly on the radio home of SLU Football - Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM. Hosted by Scelfo and Allen Waddell, the hour-long show will feature the latest on all things Lion Football.
 
Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas St.) will serve as the host for the remainder of the season. With Monday doubling as Labor Day, the first show at Pour House will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. Starting Sept. 12, the show will air from Pour House on Mondays at 7 p.m. through Nov. 21.
