HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University will host the Hall of Fame football game as well as the volleyball and soccer Alumni matches, while the golf, tennis and softball teams have fall competition on tap during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
Fresh off a dramatic 41-35 victory over No. 4/7 UIW, the Southeastern football team (2-2, 1-0 SLC) will continue its four-game home stand Saturday, hosting Murray State for a 6 p.m. nonconference contest at Strawberry Stadium.
Saturday's contest versus the Racers will also be the Hall of Fame Game. Kevin Fogg (baseball), Harlan Miller (football) and Natalie Santana (soccer) will be honored at halftime of the football game after a private induction ceremony is held earlier in the day.
The SLU volleyball team (12-3, 2-1 SLC) has three Southland matches on tap this week. The week's action starts Tuesday, as the Lady Lions welcome McNeese for a 6:30 p.m. contest in the University Center. Fans will have the opportunity to receive autographs from the Southeastern volleyball team following the match.
SLU hits the road Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. league match at New Orleans, before returning home to host Nicholls Saturday at 11 a.m. Saturday is Alumni Day in the UC, as any former Lady Lions in attendance will be honored between the second and third sets.
The Lady Lion soccer team (4-3-1, 2-1-1 SLC) will also return home this week, hosting league-leading Lamar for a 1 p.m. Southland contest Sunday in Strawberry Stadium. Sunday will double as Alumni Day, as former Southeastern soccer letter winners in attendance will be recognized at halftime.
The Southeastern golf team will compete in its second fall tournament this week. The Lions will travel to Madison, Illinois to participate in the Derek Dolenc Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
Select members of the SLU tennis team will be in action this week. Members of the Lions will travel to Conway, Arkansas to compete in the UCA Fall Invitational Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Lion softball team will open fall play this week. Southeastern hosts LSU Eunice Friday at 5 p.m. in a 10-inning exhibition at North Oak Park.

This week's football game will be broadcast on ESPN3, while the volleyball and soccer action will be televised on ESPN+. The SLU football matchup versus Murray State can also be heard on Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM.

Frank Scelfo is set for Monday at 7 p.m. The show will air weekly on the radio home of SLU Football - Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM. Hosted by Scelfo and Allen Waddell, the hour-long show will feature the latest on all things Lion Football.
Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas St.) will serve as the host for the remainder of the season and the show will air from Pour House on Mondays at 7 p.m. through Nov. 21.
