HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Slavko Stevic (high jump) and
Thomas Nedow (shot put) set personal bests for the Southeastern Louisiana University Track and Field team this weekend at the Southeastern Miss Invitational in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at the Marshall Bell Track Complex.
Stevic, a sophomore, jumped 7-1.5 (2.17m) breaking a personal high mark of 7-0.5 (2.14m) as he won the high jump event this weekend. The Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia native keeps his spot at the top of the Southland Conference rankings with the conference outdoor championships set for May 6-8 in Humble, Texas.
Stevic, the 2021 Southland Outdoor high jump champion, now ranks in the top 10 in the nation in the event.
Nedow, out Brockville, Canada, moved up to second in the conference rankings this season in the shot put after setting a career best 56-4.75 (17.19m) this weekend. The sophomore placed runner up behind Southern Miss's Fred Moudani.

Southeastern will have two weeks off before hosting the Southeastern Strawberry Relays Saturday, April. 16.
