HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University track, baseball, softball, tennis and beach volleyball teams will all be in action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Southeastern track and field teams will host their lone meet of the spring Saturday. The Strawberry Relays are set for 10 a.m. at the Southeastern Track Complex.
 
The SLU baseball team (13-19, 4-5 SLC) will open the week on the road, facing Southern Miss at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Lions then return home to host New Orleans for the Ponchartrain Bowl at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. The series opens Thursday at 6 p.m., continues Friday at 6 p.m. and concludes Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
The Lady Lion softball team (26-12, 4-2 SLC) closes out its nonconference home schedule Tuesday, hosting UL Lafayette at 6 p.m. at North Oak Park. Tuesday's game features the Flood the Field promotion and the first 150 students will receive a free t-shirt and food.
 
Following Tuesday's contest, Southeastern heads to Nicholls for a three-game Southland series in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The series opens with a 4 p.m. doubleheader Friday and concludes Saturday at noon.
 
The Southeastern women's tennis team (3-15, 1-5 SLC) concludes the 2022 regular season this week. The Lions host Southern Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
 
The SLU beach volleyball team (10-16) closes out the regular season with its final tuneup before next weekend's Southland Conference Tournament. The Beach Lions open tournament play Friday at the Battle on the Bayou in Baton Rouge, facing Central Arkansas at 10 a.m. and Nicholls at 4 p.m. Southeastern takes New Orleans at 11 a.m. and host LSU at 5 p.m. Saturday.
 
The 22^nd Annual Southeastern Louisiana University Coaches Memorial is set for Monday at 1 p.m. at the Greystone Country Club in Denham Springs, Louisiana. All proceeds benefit the SLU football program.

The 2022 season of Inside Southeastern Baseball with Matt Riser continues Monday at 12 p.m. from the patio of Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden. Riser will join co-host Allen Waddell at lunchtime every Monday during the season for the 60-minute show, talking the latest in Southeastern baseball. Pour House is located at 505 W.
