SPRING, Texas – After a fourth place finish in its spring season opener, the Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team looks to build on their momentum as it plays in the Colin Montgomerie Invitational beginning Monday at 8:15 a.m. at Augusta Pines Golf Club (par 72, 7,041 yards).
 
The Lions will join a 16-team filed, hosted by HBU, that includes Omaha, Missouri State, New Orleans, North Dakota, Prairie View A&M, Stephen F. Austin, Midland Community College, DePaul, Gonzaga, Nicholls, UT Rio Grande Valley, UIW, Weber State and two HBU teams.
 
SLU will send the same group from last week of Logan Kuehn, Cameron Mobley, Grayson Glorioso and newcomers Charlie Forster and Michael Landry.
 
Kuehn, a senior, finished runner up at last week's Gulf Coast Intercollegiate tournament, shooting even par for 54 holes. The Lake Charles, Louisiana native has three top 10 finishes for his career as he enters Monday's opening round with a 74.0 stroke average this season.
 
Mobley continues to be a rock for the Lions as he shot an opening round 71 last week before having to withdraw from the second round due to an injury. The Rankin, Mississippi native came back with a final round 74 as he and Kuehn anchor the Lions going into Monday's opening round.
 
Glorioso will seek to improve on his solid showing from last week as well after finishing tied for 17^th in the field of 75. The Lions' sophomore was consistent all weekend shooting an opening round 76, a second round 73 and final round 75.
 
Southeastern will play the first two rounds and 36 holes Monday with a shot gun start. The tournament concludes with the final round Tuesday morning.
